This blog is intended to my fellow newbies out there.
I was playing around with Photoshop CS2, thinking that there is a way to correct the shade of blue that I want to show on my photo. Apparently there is!
Here is the scenario:
You decided to go out and do a shoot of anything that involve skies and clouds and the sun. You want this because you want to try out the things that you read in your photography book. Like let's say "shooting at the right time of the day". In my case, I went to Baywalk at Roxas Blvd. in Manila because a friend invited me to shoot dragon boat races. Ok so we got there. I experimented with the sun away from the clouds and behind the clouds. Those 2 cases give you 2 different shades of blue. And of course you won't like the other because it's just simply your preference.
Ok here's that shade of blue that I like:

Exposure: Manual, 1/320 at f/8, ISO 100, 105mm using my EF28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 USM, Tungsten WB for that added blue that I like.
And here's the one that I don't like:

Exposure: Manual, 1/320 at f/8, ISO 100, 105mm using my EF28-105mm f/3.5-4.5 USM, Tungsten WB for that added blue that I like(but this time fails to give the blue that I want).
I won't bore you more with my writing so I am just gonna go ahead and place screen shots of the workflow that I've come up with. My assumption here is that you know how to open up your RAW file using PS-CS2. Just click on the images to view them in full resolution. Enjoy!
